PHILADELPHIA - The La Salle University community is deeply saddened by the loss of former track and field student-athlete Zakiyy Williams, who died on Thursday. Williams was a member of the track and field team from 2015-18 and was a student in the La Salle School of Business.

For students who wish to seek assistance or counseling, available resources include the Student Counseling Center (215-951-1355), walk-in hours are available every day at 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m., or Ministry, Service, and Support (215-951-1048). These offices are generally opened between 8:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. 

If you would like to talk to someone outside of the regular workday, or on weekends you can call 215-951-1355 and one of the 24-hour counselors will be available to talk. We also have Residence Life staff available at any time to assist students, as well as La Salle Public Safety.  Both can be reached by calling 215-951-1300.
