Three-Game Home Swing Begins Tuesday Against St. Bonaventure

PHILADELPHIA - The La Salle University men's basketball team begins a three-game homestand on Tuesday evening when it hosts St. Bonaventure at Tom Gola Arena. Tipoff against the Bonnies, who enter in second placeis scheduled for 7:00 p.m. The contest will air live on the Atlantic 10 Digital Network, with Kale Beers and Rich Prendergast on the call. 

NEWS & NOTES
•The Explorers have dropped their last two outings, both of which have come on the road.
•Most recently, Saint Louis picked up a 70-62 win over La Salle by virtue of a 39-24 edge in free throws attempted.
•The Billikens knocked down 27 free throws, including 13 from freshman Jordan Goodwin who finished with a career-high 28 points.
•Senior B.J. Johnson registered his 14th game this season with 20 points or more, closing with 23 points to go along with 10 rebounds.
•The double-double was the sixth this season for the 6-7 forward, who leads the Atlantic 10 in scoring (21.1 ppg) and ranks fourth in rebounding (8.2 rpg).
•Sophomore Isiah Deas also had a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds.
•La Salle comes into Tuesday's contest with an impressive 8-2 record at Tom Gola Arena this season and a 4-1 record against A-10 opponents.
•Freshman Miles Brookins has been a key contributor off the bench for the Explorers over the last two games, averaging 10.0 points on 63.6 percent shooting.
•Offense was an issue against Saint Louis, as the Explorers shot just 30.2 percent from the floor -- their second-lowest percentage in a single game this season (28.8% vs. Miami (Fla.)).

SCOUTING THE BONNIES
•St. Bonaventure enters as one of the hottest teams in the Atlantic 10, having won six straight games including their most recent 97-88 win over Richmond on Saturday.
•The Bonnies stand in a tie for second place in the A-10 standings at 8-4, and are 18-6 overall.
•St. Bonaventure defeated Syracuse, Maryland and Mid-American Conference-leading Buffalo during the non-conference portion of its season.
•Senior Jaylen Adams has been on a tear, averaging 36.0 points over his last three games including a pair of 40-point performances.
•On Saturday against the Spiders, Adams and fellow senior guard Matt Mobley led five Bonnies in double figures with 24 points apiece.
•In Atlantic 10 play, St. Bona is averaging a league-best 79.7 points per game and is also shooting 41.3 percent from three-point range which also paces the conference.
•Adams is averaging 21.3 points and 5.4 assists per game against A-10 foes, while Mobley is clipping the nets for 18.6 points per contest.
