BRONX, N.Y. - Three regular season games remain for the La Salle University men's basketball team, beginning with a road trip to Fordham on Saturday, Feb. 24. The contest will be the second of a doubleheader with the Fordham women's team at Rose Hill Gym, and is scheduled to start at 4:00 p.m. The Atlantic 10 Digital Network will air the game live, and an online audio broadcast is available via Stretch Internet or the Tune In Radio App, as Kale Beers and Rich Prendergast call the action.

NEWS & NOTES
•The Explorers fought tooth and nail with the top team in the Atlantic 10 on Tuesday, taking #18 Rhode Island to overtime before falling by a score of 95-93.
•Redshirt senior B.J. Johnson scored 29 points and grabbed a career-high 23 rebounds in the loss to the Rams.
•The 23 boards set a new career high for Johnson and also tied him for the second-most rebounds pulled down in a game by an NCAA Division I player this season (Rokas Gustys, Hofstra - 23 vs. Elon; Devontae Cacok, UNCW - 24 vs. James Madison).
•Johnson also became the first La Salle player to grab 20 rebounds in a game since the late Rasual Butler turned the trick against Morris Brown U. on Nov. 18, 2001.
•The 6-7 forward was one rebound shy of the Atlantic 10 record for single-game rebounds, set by George Washington's Yinka Dare on Feb. 6, 1993.
•He is also the first Explorer to score 20+ points and grab 20+ rebounds in a contest since Lionel Simmons had 29 points and 20 boards against Army on Feb. 27, 1990.
•Trailing by three with 4.2 seconds left, redshirt junior Pookie Powell made the first of two free-throw attempts and intentionally missed the second.
•Redshirt senior Tony Washington rebounded the ball and converted on the putback to tie the game at 81-81.
•Five players scored in double figures for the Explorers, including 16 points from sophomore Saul Phiri. Phiri also added six rebounds and a pair of assists in 37 minutes.
•Graduate student Amar Stukes had 11 points and three assists in the 122nd game of his collegiate career vs. Rhode Island, which moves him into sole possession of 10th place on the La Salle career games played list.

SCOUTING THE RAMS
•Fordham has dropped three straight, including Wednesday's 76-52 loss at Davidson.
•The Rams are 9-18 overall and are 4-11 in Atlantic 10 play in 2017-18.
•Joseph Chartouny had 19 points and five steals in the defeat to the Wildcats, and currently leads the nation in steals per game at 3.36.
•As a team, the Rams are ranked sixth in the NCAA in steals per contest at 9.3.
