NEW ROCHELLE, NY - The La Salle women's water polo team was defeated in two contests on Sunday to finish a four-game MAAC weekend. First, the Explorers lost to St. Francis, 20-3, and then to Iona, 15-2.
In game one,
Stephanie Morales,
Jillian Delisle, and
Karle Linden each scored a game.
Katelynn Kubo had four steals.
Finishing up the day,
Kacie Cios scored twice, both on the power play. Delisle had a team-high five steals followed by
Madison Martinez who played a strong game and had four takeaways.
La Salle will rest next weekend before traveling back to the state of New York on April 7 to begin a three-game weekend that includes two ranked opponents in Marist and Wagner, as well as VMI.
