ANNAPOLIS, Md. - Members of the men's and women's swimming and diving team competed in the first day of the CSCAA National Invite, hosted by Navy on Thursday. Some of the top schools in the country competed, including 17 schools in the men's competition and 23 in the women's.

The men's 400 medley team took the top spot. Fabian Bergman, Marcus Forsgren, Norm Gregory, and Jakub Bartosiewicz clocked in at 3:14.84, finishing 0:00.16 ahead of the pack.

The four also took fifth in the 200 free relay (1:21.86).

Forsgren turned a nice performance, also finishing second in the 50 free. Forsgren had a final time of 20.37 seconds.

Bergman took third in the 200 IM, finishing in 1:47.37.

In the women's event, Olivia DiStefano placed 10th in the 50 free (23.24 seconds).
