PHILADELPHIA - The women's lacrosse team won its second straight game, defeating St. Bonaventure with ease on Sunday afternoon, 14-2.

The Explorers were in control for the entire game and looked comfortable in all aspects of play. They scored the first give goals of the game and allowed just one in each half.

Bridget Ruskey, who scored the game-winner in overtime just two days prior, scored a team-high four goals. Rachel Ceplo had three and Hannah Wertz two. Ceplo's third goal gave La Salle a 10-goal lead in the second half to activate a running clock that would continue for the rest of regulation.

Emily Johnston had a strong game with a goal, an assist, and team-highs in caused turnovers (three) and draw controls (seven). 

Lynne Frankel picked up the win and had eight saves.

The Explorers will travel to play VCU on Friday at 5:00 PM.
