PHILADELPHIA - The La Salle women's water polo team simultaneously made its home opener and concluded their season Sunday at Kirk Pool. The team fought hard against both opponents, but lost their finale two games of the season.

Iona 12, La Salle 4
Madison Martinez scored twice for the Explorers. Kaitlynn Kubo and Jenny Fertmaintt each had one goal. Jillian Delisle drew four kickouts. Kubo and Martinez played well on defense with four and three steals respectively.

Villanova 18, La Salle 15
Delisle led the offense with five goals scored. Kubo found the back of the net four times. Karlie Linden had three goals, Stephanie Morales had two, and Martinez had one. Martinez had four assists and drew three kickouts.
