PHILADELPHIA - The La Salle University women's rowing team squared off against Loyola (Md.) on the Schuylkill River Saturday, earning a victory in the Varsity 4 race.

The two four-plus boats closed in first and second place, defeating a pair of Greyhound groups. The varsity eight took second to Loyola.

La Salle continues its season at Atlantic 10 Championships on Saturday, May 5 in Cooper River, N.J.
