PHILADELPHIA - The 16th Annual Friends of Bill Raftery Golf Outing is scheduled for Monday, June 18 at North Hills Country Club in North Hills, Pa. Famed college basketball analyst and La Salle graduate Bill Raftery '63 will once again serve as Honorary Chairman for the Golf Outing. The outing is coordinated by the "Friends of Bill Raftery" Golf Committee, in collaboration with La Salle Athletic Development. All funds raised during the golf outing directly benefit the La Salle men's basketball team.

New head men's basketball coach Ashley Howard is scheduled to be in attendance at the event. Howard, who most recently served as top assistant for national champion Villanova, was named the 19th head coach in the storied history of the La Salle men's basketball program on April 9. 

Golf packages start at $400 with sponsorship opportunities also available. Registration begins at 11:00 a.m., with a scramble shotgun start commencing at 12:30 p.m. In order to keep the pace of play comfortable for all and allow more players to enjoy this day, the main flight will be capped at 30 foursomes. Registrants are invited to choose our morning flight option. All benefits of registration remain available to morning flight participants with the added bonus of coffee, donuts and bagels in the morning and a golf course that's virtually wide open!

Following golf, cocktails will be served at 5:30 p.m. prior to dinner which is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. Morning flight participants are welcome to return for the cocktail reception and dinner program.
