Women's Water Polo | April 7, 2018

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY - The La Salle women's water polo team was defeated by two MAAC opponents on Saturday. The Explorers took on #23 Marist on ESPN3 in the morning and then VMI later in the day.

La Salle fell to the Red Foxes to start the day, 20-2. Jillian Delisle, the team's leading scorer, netted both of the goals. Stephanie Morales tacked on one assist and had a steal.

The Explorers were able to make the second game much closer as they were defeated by VMI, 11-5. Katelynn Kubo scored twice in this game while Morales, Delisle, and Kacie Cios each found the back of the net once.

La Salle takes on #17 Wagner on Sunday at 1:30 PM before coming back home.
