PHILADELPHIA - The La Salle University men's soccer team suffered a heartbreaking 1-0 defeat to the Rider Broncs Saturday evening from McCarthy Stadium in a rainy affair.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • The two teams combined for seven shots in the first half, but the game was scoreless at halftime.
  • The game appeared to be destined for overtime before Rider scored in the 88th minute as Elliot Otmani found Pablo DeCastro for a header.
