CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Women's swimming & diving were back in the water for the first time this season, competing at the New England Catholic Invite. After the opening day, the women are fourth among a field of seven with 132 points.
MEET NOTES
- Sophomore Sara Rizzetto stood out for the women on day one, notably touching first in the 200 IM with a 2:08.99 finish.
- Rizzetto was also part of a relay team with the best combined effort of the day for the women. The event was the 200 Free Relay, and the German teamed up with classmate Sarah Wyant and freshmen Lauren Fenn and Brynn Peterson to touch in 1:39.01.
- A pair of fourth-place finishes were the other notable times for the women. Sophomore Anne Moser reached behind a trio of Boston College swimmers in the 500 Free, cloking in at 5:13.05.
- A mixed-experience relay team of Rizzetto and Peterson, plus seniors Carrie Horan and Emily Wolbert, placed behind three Golden Eagle teams in the 400 Medley.
