PHILADELPHIA -- Sophomore Sara Rizzetto and freshman Sam Henninger were recognized for their stellar weekend performances by the Atlantic 10 on Tuesday. Rizzetto was awarded Women's Performer of the Week, while Henninger was named Men's Rookie of the Week.

Rizzetto took first in a pair of events at the New England Catholic Invite. Her winning time in the 200 Back of 2:04.10 broke the previous Invite record by 1.55 seconds, while her other top finish, 2:08.99 in the 200 IM, was three milliseconds from cracking another Invite mark. She also placed second in the 400 IM and, collectively, second in the 200 Free Relay.

For his part, Henninger began his collegiate career in splendid fashion, claiming first in the 1-meter dive with a score of 282.90--12.75 higher than the next closest competitor.

Both Explorers will look to continue their good form as La Salle is back in action at Drexel on October 25th.
