PHILADELPHIA – The La Salle University men's soccer team will try to secure an Atlantic 10 Conference Tournament spot when the Explorers head to St. Bonaventure for the regular season finale on Saturday at 7 p.m.
 
ATLANTIC 10 OUTLOOK

• La Salle remains in a four-way tie for sixth place in the Atlantic 10 standings entering the final weekend of the regular season.
• Currently, 11 teams are in the hunt for one of the eight playoff spots. Five teams have already clinched in Rhode Island, Saint Louis, VCU, Dayton and Fordham.
• That leaves three spots left for La Salle (3-4 A-10), Duquesne (3-4), George Mason (3-4), George Washington (3-4), Massachusetts (2-5) or Davidson (2-5).
• The Explorers hold head-to-head tiebreakers over both Duquesne and George Mason as well as a common opponent tiebreaker over George Washington.
• A win over St. Bonaventure on Saturday could potentially land La Salle the No. 6 seed.

LAST TIME OUT

• The Explorers fell to UMass on Senior Day last Saturday, 3-2, at McCarthy Stadium.
• Sophomore Ike Hollinger scored in the 41st minute to tie the game at one, and fellow sophomore Nigel Buckley added a goal late in the second half.
• Brett Werner made four saves in goal, while Buckley and sophomores Sam DeCencio and Omari Cotterell combined for 12 shots.

MORA NAMED A-10 ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

• Freshman goalkeeper Carlos Mora was named Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week on Monday.
• Mora registered his second shutout of the season in a 2-0 win at George Mason last Wednesday, matching his season high with five saves.
• The netminder is 3-1-1 in net with a 1.04 goals against average.

SCOUTING ST. BONAVENTURE

• The Bonnies are 5-10 overall and have struggled in conference play with a 1-6 A-10 mark.
• They are 2-3 at home, including a win over George Mason in their last home game, and defeated Howard 4-2 on Tuesday.
• Fredrik Hansen leads the team with three goals and two assists, while Joshua Pulla has two goals and three assists.
• St. Bonaventure has used three different goalkeepers who own a 2.04 goals against average and a .705 save percentage as a collective unit.
