PHILADELPHIA – Men's swimming & diving dropped its contest to Villanova on Tuesday, 172-126. The Explorers had a handful of first-place finishes on the afternoon, including two from sophomore
Zachary Wolbert.
MEET NOTES
- Wolbert's top times came in the 100 Fly (51.43) and 200 Fly (1:52.60). He also touched second in the 200 IM.
- Another first-place result came via senior Christoff Ras who beat out everyone in the 200 Breast with a time of 2:08.12. He also recorded a second-place time in the 100 Breast.
- Freshman Sam Henninger was again among the leaders on the boards. The rookie finished with 302.93 points in the 3-meter dive, good for first.
- Junior Daniel Johnson also came in first for the men's team in the 100 Free with a time of 47.28.
- Johnson was part of a 200 Free Relay team, which included senior Marcus Forsgren, sophomore Ian Venter and freshman Alex Kuriawa, that claimed the top spot by clocking at 1:27.62.
- Other notable finishes include second-place finishes for seniors Norm Gregory (200 Free) and Forsgren (50 Free) and Venter (100 Back, 200 Back).
