PHILADELPHIA - La Salle men's basketball looks to return to its winning ways on Saturday afternoon as it takes on Drexel at the Daskalakis Athletic Center. Tipoff is set for 2:00 p.m., with the game airing live locally on NBC Sports Philadelphia. Those not in the Philadelphia market will be able to watch via an online broadcast courtesy of FloHoops. An audio broadcast, featuring the Voice of the Explorers

NEWS & NOTES
•The Explorers had a three-game winning streak snapped on Dec. 1 as No. 22 Villanova jumped out to a 20-point halftime lead and earned an 83-72 win.
•Sophomore
Ed Croswell registered his third double-double of the year with 14 points and 10 rebounds, while junior
David Beatty scored 12 points.
•Freshman
Sherif Kenney was named Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week on Monday for his exploits at the Gulf Coast Showcase in Florida.
•Kenney had 15-point performances against both Murray State and South Alabama, helping the Explorers to the tournament title.
•Junior
Scott Spencer has started every game this season and has connected on at least one three-pointer in each of La Salle's seven games.
•The game marks the return of second-year head coach
Ashley Howard to his collegiate stomping grounds.
•Howard played two seasons with the Dragons from 1999-01 before his playing career was cut short due to a medical disqualification.
•He would go on to graduate with a degree in communications in 2004.
SCOUTING DREXEL
•The Dragons are a perfect 5-0 at the Daskalakis Center after an 82-76 win over Princeton on Wednesday evening.
•Sophomore guard Camren Wynter scored a career-high 31 points in the victory, going 13-for-16 from the field and also tallying five assists and three steals.
•James Butler totaled 18 points and 12 rebounds for Drexel, who has also defeated Bryant, Abilene Christian, Niagara and Rosemont this year.
•Butler is averaging a double-double at 14.3 points and 11.6 rebounds per game, with reserve Zach Walton ranking second on the team at 12.4 ppg.
ALL-TIME SERIES
•La Salle leads the all-time series between the two schools, 22-7, dating back to the first matchups during the 1944-45 season.
•The Explorers and Dragons have met in each of the last four years, with Drexel winning three of those four contests.
•Interestingly, all three of those games that La Salle has lost have come at Tom Gola Arena.

Isiah Deas had 13 points and
David Beatty had 11 points vs. Drexel last year in an 89-84 loss.
•Deas had 14 points vs. Drexel two seasons ago, a narrow 72-70 defeat that went down to the wire.
