LEWISBURG, Pa. – Sophomore Sara Rizzetto broke La Salle's 200 IM record on Friday as women's swimming & diving finished fifth on the opening day of the Bucknell Invitational. Rizzetto's time of 2:02.89 was nearly a full second faster than the record she set last season at the A-10 Classic.
 
MEET NOTES

• The Kriftel, Germany native finished third in that event, touching behind a pair of Davidson swimmers.
• Sophomore Phoebe Shaya placed well in the 1-meter, diving to second with a point total of 249.85.
• La Salle's best relay finish came in the 400 Medley where a squad of Rizzetto, senior Carrie Horan and freshmen Brynn Peterson and Lauren Fenn took fifth with a time of 3:49.44.
