Men's Swimming and Diving | December 8, 2019

LEWISBURG, Pa. – Men's swimming & diving wrapped up the Bucknell Invitational by finishing in fourth with 995 points. The Explorers recorded a number of top times in the last action of the semester, namely wins in the 200 Fly and 400 Free Relay.
 
MEET NOTES

• It was sophomore Zachary Wolbert who led the pack in the 200 Fly. He touched in 1:47.99.
• The relay team that also took gold consisted of seniors Marcus Forsgren and Norm Gregory, junior Daniel Johnson and sophomore Ian Venter. The quarter just managed to edge out the pursuing field by .11 of a second with a time of 3:01.44.
• Gregory also tallied a solid individual time in the 100 Free where he took second, clocking at 44.96.
• Also on the podium were senior Christoff Ras and freshman Sam Henninger. Ras took third in the 200 Breast with a time of 2:04.49, while Henninger scored 308.25 in the 3-meter dive to also finish third.
• Venter just finished outside of the top three in the 200 Back, but nevertheless swam well to a fourth-place result.
