GENEVA, Ohio -- Men's and women's swimming and diving concluded the first day of the A-10 Championships with impressive results in multiple events The teams finished on the podium with a pair of podium results to go with a fourth-place position. Overall, they recorded top-five times in three of the five events on Wednesday.
MEET NOTES
- Individually, freshman Steven Stasolla finished with the best result on the day. The rookie placed third in the 1-meter dive with a score of 277.55 behind Gerald Hodges (George Mason) and Peter Nachtwey (George Washington).
- In the 800 Free Relay, La Salle touched in third behind George Washington and Davidson. The bronze medalist team comprised of Aleksandar Nikolic, Kyle McElwee, Zachary Wolbert, and Daniel Johnson; the group finished with a time of 6:36.03.
- La Salle's other top-five time came in 200 Medley Relay as a freshmen-junior combination of Ian Venter, Marcus Forsgren, Zachary Wolbert, and Norman Gregory placed fourth. The final time of that group was 1:29.39, pacing behind George Washington, George Mason, and Massachusetts.
