PHILADELPHIA - The La Salle University men's basketball team returns home to Tom Gola Arena for a rematch with Richmond on Saturday afternoon. The two teams squared off three weeks ago, with the Explorers earning a 66-58 road win over the Spiders. Tipoff is scheduled for 2:00 p.m., with La Salle University hosting Accepted Students Day. A live video stream of the game will be available to fans on ESPN+, and an online audio broadcast featuring Kale Beers and Rich Prendergast can be heard on the Tune In Radio App and Stretch Internet.

NEWS & NOTES
•La Salle has dropped its last two games, both of which have come to teams on the road.
•On Wednesday, graduate student Pookie Powell scored 20 points but a strong comeback attempt fell short in a 62-60 loss at St. Bonaventure.
•The Explorers trailed by as many as 11 points in the second half before they came storming back to tie the game at 60-60 following a three-pointer from junior Saul Phiri.
•Following a stop at the other end, a turnover on La Salle's next offensive possession allowed the Bonnies one more chance to go ahead and they did just that as Kyle Lofton connected with 3.1 seconds left.
•One final chance for the Explorers was denied as the visitors could not get a shot off before time expired.
•The officials took a look at the play to see if there had been a clock malfunction but ruled the game over upon further review.
•In addition to Powell's performance, junior Isiah Deas had 16 points and freshman Ed Croswell added 10 rebounds.
•Croswell has posted double-figure rebound totals in five of his last seven games, including a 16-rebound performance against Richmond on Feb. 2.

SCOUTING RICHMOND
•The Spiders have won three of their four outings since the last meeting with La Salle, including a 72-69 victory over Fordham on Feb. 20.
•Grant Golden had 16 points to lead a balanced effort for Richmond, who connected on 10 three-pointers and tallied 22 assists against just eight turnovers.
•Jacob Gilyard had an all-around performance, totaling 10 points, eight rebounds and eight assists while committing just one turnover in 40 minutes of action.
•Gilyard had 20 points in the first matchup between the two schools while Golden and Nathan Cayo added 12 points apiece.

INSIDE THE ATLANTIC 10 STANDINGS
•By virtue of Davidson's recent loss to Dayton, VCU holds sole possession of first place with five games remaining in the regular season.
•The Rams are 11-2 in A-10 play and became the first league team to reach the 20-win plateau with a win over Rhode Island on Wednesday.
•La Salle currently stands in eighth place in the standings, one game in front of Richmond and Rhode Island.
•After the key game against the Spiders, the Explorers will host second-place Davidson at Tom Gola Arena on Wednesday, Feb. 27.
