PHILADELPHIA – The La Salle women's basketball team (4-24, 1-13 A-10) heads north to take on St. Bonaventure (8-19, 5-9 A-10) for its final road game of the regular season. The Atlantic 10 showdown is set to tip at 5 p.m. Wednesday with the game airing on ESPN+.

SCOUTING THE EXPLORERS:
  • The Explorers have dropped their last four games, most recently falling at Richmond. After being down by as many as 17 points, La Salle pulled within three late in the fourth quarter. The comeback bid fell short as the Spiders claimed the victory, 56-51.
  • Junior Shalina Miller is one block away from tying Linda French '87 for the program single season record with 55. The Philadelphia, Pa. native is currently fourth in program history in blocks with 103 and is second in the conference in blocks (54) and third in blocks per game (1.9). Her 54 deflections also have Miller ranked 34th in the nation.
  • Over the last 11 games, the Explorers are shooting 40.3% from the field and 30.8% from long range. Both are better than the season averages of 34.3% FG and 25.0% 3FG. Given the increase in shooting percentage, La Salle is also scoring 59.4 points per outing over that span, which is 4.0 points better than the season average.
  • The Explorers are first in the A-10 in both steals (250) and steals per game (8.9).
  • Senior Jeryn Reese is the team's active leading scorer with 8.2 points per game. Junior Shalina Miller (7.8 ppg), sophomore Michelle Nicholls (7.7 ppg), and junior Sofilia Ngwafang (7.1 ppg), and are the next top scorers.
  • On the glass, Reese (6.4 rpg) and Miller (6.4 rpg) are topping the team in rebounds.
  • Reese has been on fire as of late. The Mansfield, Ohio native has dropped 10 or more points in six of her last eight games, averaging 11.8 ppg over that span.
  • At least one Explorer has scored a career high in points in 11 of the last 20 games.
SCOUTING THE BONNIES:
  • St. Bonaventure enters Wednesday's game with an 8-19, 5-9 A-10 record. The Bonnies have lost five of their last six games, with the lone win coming over Rhode Island, 62-61.
  • SBU has three scorers near the double-digit plateau with the team collectively scoring 57.7 points per outing. Mckenna Maycock (12.1), Asianae Johnson (10.1), and Deja Francis (9.7) are the team's top scorers.
  • The team is fourth in the league in both three-point field goals made and three-point field goal percentage.
  • The Bonnies are averaging 17.1 turnovers per outing, including a -3.0 turnover margin. With their ability to grab steals and aggressive defense, the Explorers could look to capitalize in this regard.
THE SERIES:
  • The all-time series between the Explorers and Bonnies is knotted at 15 apiece.
  • La Salle has won five of the last seven games, including the last three matchups.
  • The Explorers last win in Olean came on Feb. 7, 2017, when La Salle took down the Bonnies, 57-45.
