FAIRFAX, Va. - La Salle men's basketball, one of the hottest teams in the Atlantic 10, travels to George Mason on Sunday, Feb. 10, for an Atlantic 10 showdown at EagleBank Arena. The contest, which is scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m., will air live locally on NBC Sports Philadelphia, as part of Stadium Network's basketball package.
The Explorers (7-14, 5-4 A-10) will be searching for their fifth straight victory and are coming off a decisive 83-69 win over Big 5 rival Saint Joseph's on Tuesday evening. Four players scored in double figures for La Salle, led by redshirt junior
Traci Carter (18 points, six assists) and junior
Saul Phiri (17 points, 5-8 3-pt. FG).
George Mason sat atop the A-10 standings with a 7-1 record prior to a pair of tough road losses against VCU and Richmond, and is now 13-10 overall and 7-3 in league play. The starting backcourt of Justin Kier and Otis Livingston II are combining to average 27.9 points, 8.9 rebounds and 6.6 assists per game.
