Biography
2018-19: Played in all 31 games for the Explorers, making 30 starts... Led team with 101 assists (3.3 apg) and 57 steals (1.8 spg)... Averaged 6.4 points per contest... Shot 83.9 percent from the free-throw line... Had seven games in which he scored 10 or more points... Broke out for career-high 24 points in home win over Davidson, going 9-of-11 from the floor and a perfect 4-for-4 from three-point range... Had 18 points in rivalry win over St. Joe's... Scored 17 points and added eight assists at The Palestra against No. 23 Villanova... Eight assists were a season high... Pilfered five steals against Bucknell and had four in games against Temple and Fordham.
2017-18: Did not play due to NCAA transfer rules.
2016-17 (at Marquette): Played in eight games, including four starts, before announcing his decision to transfer… Scored seven points in the season opener against Vanderbilt (Nov. 11) at the Veteran's Classic and added four rebounds and five assists without a turnover... Scored nine points in 20 minutes against Houston Baptist (Nov. 26) and had six assists with zero turnovers.
2015-16 (at Marquette): Earned team's Most Assists Award... Played in 33 games, making 19 starts while averaging 23.9 minutes per outing… Made NCAA debut in the season opener against Belmont (Nov. 13), recording five points and five assists in 14 minutes... Made first career start in an 81-80 win over LSU (Nov. 23) at the Legends Classic in Brooklyn, recording nine assists... Scored 13 points over 42 minutes to help team capture the Legends Classic championship against Arizona State (Nov. 24)... Notched 10 assists against Grambling State (Dec. 2) in 26 minutes of action... Was a perfect 4-of-4 from the floor and knocked down his only 3-point attempt for 10 points against Maine (Dec. 5), and also recorded seven assists, seven rebounds and four steals... High School:Â Earned the 90th spot in the national rankings for the Class of 2015 by Rivals.com... Rated as the 18th best point guard in the class by FOXSports.com... Completed his prep career at Life Center Academy in Burlington, N.J. under head coach Pervis Ellison... Averaged 16.0 points, 7.0 assists, 5.0 rebounds and 4.0 steals per game in 2014-15 and was tabbed first team all-independent... Was also a McDonald's All-American Game nominee and was named the program's most valuable player... Helped Life Center Academy to over 40 victories in his two seasons and the team claimed the top ranking among independent teams within the state of New Jersey... Concluded his prep career with over 1,000 points and was tabbed the top player in the Hoop Hall Classic... Began his career at Roman Catholic High School in Philadelphia, Pa... Averaged 7.6 points per game for the Cahillites as a sophomore and competed on the AAU circuit for We-R1 and the squad claimed the Under Armour Association Championship in 2014.
