FAIRFAX, Va. – Sophomore Dennis Manyeah won the high jump to lead the La Salle University men's track and field team as the Explorers competed at the Mason Spring Invitational and the Bison Outdoor Classic over the weekend.
 
WHERE THEY FINISHED

• Manyeah defeated 10 other individuals in the high jump, posting a leap of 2.09 meters (6'10.25") to claim the victory.
• Freshman Chris Lewis placed seventh in the 200-meter dash with a time of 21.55 seconds.
• Junior Ache Hall and sophomore Dylan Burnett placed sixth and seventh respectively in the 110-meter hurdles in 14.86 seconds and 14.88 seconds. Freshman Khyree Johnson-Waters was 11^th in 15.53 seconds and finished eighth in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 56.65. Burnett and Hall were 13^th and 14^th in the 400 hurdles.
• Freshman Ibrahim Kedir made his track debut for the Explorers, placing 11^th in the 1,500 meters with a mark of 3:53.16. Junior Anthony Hawthorne was 27^th in the event at 3:58.41.
• Senior Isiah Akil was 20^th in the 400 meters with a time of 51.83. Freshman Brycen Pitre finished 31^st in the 800 meters with a time of 1:57.50.
• Sophomore Ryan James represented La Salle at the Bison Outdoor Classic, running the 1,500 meters in 3:58.35.

• La Salle will head to the Larry Ellis Invitational next weekend.
