GENEVA, Ohio – Men's swimming & diving stayed put in fourth place after the third day of A-10 Championships. Junior
Daniel Johnson and sophomore
Zachary Wolbert earned silver medals, while the 400 Medley Relay claimed third to headline processions on Friday.
MEET NOTES
- Johnson staged one of the most thrilling swims of the day in the 200 Free. The Annapolis native was positioned third until the final turn when he surged to claim second by a matter of milliseconds, clocking 1:38.06
- Wolbert touched second in the 400 IM with a time of 3:51.07, good for an NCAA 'B' Cut.
- A 400 Medley relay team of Wolbert, seniors Norm Gregory and Marcus Forsgren and sophomore Ian Venter earned the bronze with a 3:15.66 touch.
- Forsgren's other result of the evening came in the 100 Breast where he finished fifth (55.41).
- Other top-ten times include Venter touching ninth in the 100 Back (48.30) and freshman Sebastian Aguirre going ninth in the 100 Fly (48.84).
- The Blue & Gold's point total sits at 292.5, 58 shy of third-place St. Bonaventure.
