La Salle Athletics will be running "Senior Spotlight Series" throughout the next three months, highlighting Explorers from sport programs that had their championship seasons cut short this spring.
Name:
Katelynn Kubo
Hometown: Hakalau, Hawaii
Major: Nutrition (Psychology minor)
Most Memorable Moment at La Salle (Your Sport): Playing in front of my family for the first time as a college athlete and scoring the game-winner against Fresno Pacific with less than half a minute on the clock, capturing La Salle's first California team win in history.
Most Memorable Moment at La Salle (Not Sports Related): Being the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) Secretary. Also being in Philly when the Eagles won the Super Bowl and attending the parade.
Who Would You Consider Your Role Model? My father because he is the hardest worker and most supportive person I know. He always expected me to just try MY BEST. For me that meant that I'd be giving my 110%, so it was a win-win for him.

Postscript: I would like to thank my parents and siblings for the endless support and my teammates for being my home away from home.
