MILLERSVILLE, Pa. - The La Salle University men's tennis team could not hang on to an early lead and dropped a road match with Millersville, 4-3, on Friday afternoon. The contest was the penultimate match of the regular season for the Explorers, who are scheduled to take on Saint Joseph's on Sunday.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Explorers took the doubles point thanks to an impressive showing by the No. 3 team of Brandon Caban and Dylan Tull.
• The duo won by an emphatic 6-0 score and, coupled with a win by the No. 2 team of Nassim Fenjiro and Colin Lucius, staked La Salle to a 1-0 lead.
• Fenjiro and Caban both won their matches in straight sets to put the Explorers on the brink of victory. 
• The Marauders won in straight sets at No. 4, before three matches went to a decisive third-set tiebreak.
• Unfortunately for La Salle, all three matches went in favor of the home team as Millersville took the team win.
