PHILADELPHIA – Newly appointed head coach Kerry Smith and La Salle men and women's swimming & diving announced both team's 2021-22 schedule.
 
The Explorers will host three joint meets, starting with Drexel on Oct. 8 at 5 p.m. for their Breast Cancer Awareness Meet. Both programs will also host Seton Hall on Nov. 6, and Fordham on Jan. 22.
 
Their season will kick off on the road, as both programs will head to Boston College to compete in the Catholic Invite from Oct. 1-2. La Salle will also head to the University of Delaware on Nov. 13 to face both Delaware and Rider in separate meets.
 
The Explorers then head to Bucknell to compete in the three-day Bucknell Invite from Nov. 19-21 before rounding out their fall schedule at Villanova on Nov. 23.
 
After hosting Fordham on Jan. 22, the Explorers will head to Monmouth on Jan. 28 before competing in the Sprint Fest hosted by Villanova on Jan. 30. In total, the men and women will compete together in all but two meets, as the men will travel to Newark, N.J. to face the New Jersey Institute of Technology on Oct. 16 while the women will host Richmond on Jan. 15.
 
The 2021-22 season will wrap up in Genova, Ohio for the four-day Atlantic 10 Championships, Feb. 16-19.
 
The women will look to improve on a seventh-place finish in last year's A-10 Championship which saw Sara Rizzetto secure the gold medal in the 200 Back, while the men will look to build upon last season's sixth-place finish.
