Swimming & Diving Programs Earn CSCAA Academic Honors

PHILADELPHIA - The La Salle University men's and women's swimming and diving teams were recognized with academic honors from the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA), it was announced this week.
 
Both programs were honored following strong performances in the classroom this past week, as the women's team maintained a 3.63 grade-point average in the fall 2021 semester, while the men held a 3.35 team-wide mark.
 
Coach [Kerry] Smith is one of our sports' up-and-comers and you're seeing it here," said Greg Earhart, the executive director of the CSCAA. "These 40 men and women are some of the best ambassadors that La Salle and the A-10 Conference could ask for." 
 
About the CSCAA: "Founded in 1922, the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA), is the nation's first organization of college coaches. The mission of the CSCAA is to advance the sport of swimming and diving with coaches at the epicenter of leadership, advocacy, and professional development."
