Men's Basketball | January 3, 2022

La Salle Athletics has revised its spectator policy for all indoor home events at TruMark Financial Center, in accordance with new requirements announced by the Philadelphia Department of Public Health (PDPH), effective January 3.  All fans five years of age and older will be required to show proof of vaccination (along with valid ID), or exemption plus a negative COVID-19 test, to enter TruMark Financial Center for all home men's basketball, women's basketball, women's water polo, and swimming & diving contests. Documents that will be accepted as proof at the point of entry are vaccination cards, images of vaccination cards (on phone), and documentation from PDPH. Full vaccination requires fans in attendance to have received two shots of either the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, or one shot of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. Through January 17, unvaccinated fans can provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test (along with valid ID) from a lab within 24 hours of entry to TruMark Financial Center. A screenshot of a negative PCR or rapid antigen test is acceptable. Home tests will not be accepted.

Spectators with an exemption based on religious beliefs or medical conditions must also provide documentation of a negative COVID-19 test from a lab to gain admission. If an entrant cannot follow the above protocol, the person will be denied entry to TruMark Financial Center. Beginning January 18, negative COVID-19 tests will not be accepted to gain entrance into TruMark Financial Center. All fans must provide proof of vaccination to attend an event, or provide an exemption plus a negative COVID-19 test. In addition, all fans that attend events at TruMark Financial Center are required to wear masks. Concession stands will be open as normal during all home men's and women's basketball games. Fans may remove masks intermittently to eat and drink inside TruMark Financial Center.  All fans are reminded to monitor their health and symptoms daily and are asked not to attend the event if they feel sick. Fans are encouraged to allow for extra time in arriving to TruMark Financial Center. For more information relating to the La Salle University COVID-19 response, click here.
