PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – La Salle men's soccer will face Lafayette College on Tuesday, October 11
th at 6 p.m. at McCarthy Stadium. The game will be streamed on ESPN+.
The Explorers come into the match at 3-5-4 and the Leopards sit at 7-4-1.
Scouting the Explorers –
- La Salle played Rhode Island on Saturday and finished in a 2-2 tie. Nigel Buckley had two goals to help the Explorers get that result.
- With those two goals Buckley now leads the Explorers in goals on the season with five.
- La Salle is 2-0-2 in their last four games, all of which have been in-conference games.
- Freshman goalkeeper, Tino Kneis, started his sixth game of the year and saved five shots. His save percentage is now 0.650.
Scouting the Leopards –
- Lafayette is coming off a low-scoring 1-0 loss to Lehigh on Saturday.
- Marcos Kitromilides leads the way with six goals on the season for the Leopards.
- Junior forward, Hale Lombard, has taken 34 total shots for Lafayette, 16 of which are shots on goal.
- Alex Sutton has started 11 games in goal for Lafayette and has a 0.781 save percentage.
