CHICAGO, IL. – La Salle men's soccer will make the trip to the windy city to face the newest A-10 Conference member, Loyola Chicago.
The Explorers are 3-6-4 overall, with a 2-1-2 in conference record. The Ramblers enter at 5-2-4 overall, and 1-2-2 in conference play.
Scouting the Explorers –
- La Salle is coming off a 3-1 loss to Lafayette last Saturday, where Isak Sedin notched his second goal of the season.
- Omari Cotterell led the Explorers with four shots taken during the game against Lafayette.
- Nigel Buckley leads the team with five goals on the year and is tied with Cotterell with shots taken at 30.
- Tino Kneis got the start in net against Lafayette, making that his seventh start in 2022. He had a save percentage of .630.
Scouting the Ramblers –
- Loyola Chicago is coming off a 0-0 tie to the number 16 ranked Dayton last Saturday.
- The Ramblers have tied their last two games which have been against conference opponents.
- Graduate Student goalkeeper, Simon Jillson, had four saves in the start against Dayton.
- Billy Hency leads Loyola Chicago with four goals on the season and 35 shots taken.
