PHILADELPHIA - All four boats that competed for the La Salle University men's rowing team at its season-opening Navy Day Regatta had strong finishes, as the Explorers secured top tens across the board.

Leading the way was the varsity eight boat, who finished fourth ahead of Temple and Saint Joseph's, and behind just Penn and Drexel. The freshman/novice 4+ closed in third place, while two more 4+ boats in the collegiate rowing category earned fourth and seventh-place finishes.

La Salle returns to action at the prestigious Head of the Charles in Boston on Sunday, Oct. 23.
