PHILADELPHIA – Senior men's rower
Joel Bevenour has been named to the Philadelphia Area Sports Information Directors Association (PhillySIDA) Academic All-Area Men's Rowing Team as announced by the organization Wednesday.
Bevenour was one of nine athletes selected to the team as voted on by the sports information offices of 30 area institutions from the Philadelphia metropolitan area. He has been named a team captain for the past three seasons and also received the Comeback Athlete of the Year at the 2025 Expy's.
The Bensalem, PA native has rowed as a part of V8 and 2V8 boats this season. He played a key roll in the V8's win of their second straight Kerr Cup and was a member of the 2V8 boat that achieved a national ranking of 21 at the IRA National Championship.
In the classroom, Bevenour is a computer science major with a career GPA of a near perfect 3.92.
