CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - The La Salle men's rowing team will compete at the prestigious Head of the Charles Regatta on Sunday. The Explorers will have a pair of boats in races, beginning at 1:55 p.m.
Established in 1965, the Head of the Charles has over 11,000 athletes compete yearly in the event, including Olympic teams, world champions, and collegiate champions. A total of 72 races will take place, ranging from high school students to grand veteran athletes (80+).
A live stream of the event will be available for free via the link above.Â
Quote from Head Coach Ivo Krakic: "We had a solid week of training and the team is eager to show what they have been working on! I am happy with the progress and the growth mindset that the team embodies. We approach every day and every obstacle as an opportunity to learn, take lessons and grow, it is very fun and fulfilling to be a part of that culture. This weekend will be another opportunity for the team to grow while experiencing one of the largest regattas in the world."
