Men's Swimming and Diving | October 28, 2022
SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. – Men's and women's swimming and diving will travel to New Jersey to face the 1-1 Seton Hall Pirates on Saturday, October 29
th at 12 p.m.
Scouting the Explorers (Women) –
- Women's swimming and diving fell to Drexel in a close meet 152-146.
- Men's swimming and diving lost to Drexel 169-131.
- Anne Moser got first place in the 1000-yard freestyle with a time of 10:35.81.
- Gabby Herbreder got first place in both the 100-yard and 200-yard breaststroke.
- Thilda Ström won the 500-yard freestyle clocking in at 5:12.12.
- Felicia Rogell earned first place in the 200-yard IM at 2:09.59.
- Phoebe Shaya won the one-meter diving and the three-meter diving events.
Scouting the Explorers (Men) –
- George Williamson won twice in the meet against Drexel in the 500 and 1000-yard freestyle.
- Getting the first-place finish in the 200-butterfly was Zack Wolbert at 1:52.48.
- Zack Miller added a first-place finish with a win in the 100-yard freestyle.
- Diver, Sam Henninger, won the one-meter and three-meter diving events against Drexel.
Scouting the Pirates –
- The Pirates enter today with a 1-1 record, and will compete on October 28th against Monmouth at 3 p.m.
- The opening meet was a success for both the men's and women's team as they both won against Rider.
- Ben Endersby earned two wins for the men against Rider in the 200-medley relay, and the 200-free relay.
- Mandy Zajdzinski led the women's team with three individual victories against Rider in the 1000-free, the 200-free, and the 500-free.
