Men's Swimming and Diving | December 3, 2022
PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The 2-3 La Salle men's swim and dive team will match up against NJIT on Sunday, November 4
th at 1 p.m. NJIT comes into the meet with a 2-2 overall record.
Scouting the Explorers –
- The men are coming off a big win over Villanova in their last meet, winning 167-131.
- George Williamson had a strong performance throughout as he got the win in the 100-yard freestyle and the 500-yard freestyle.
- Zack Wolbert won four events against Nova in the 200-medley relay, 200 butterfly, 100 butterfly, and the 200-yard IM.
- Jason Rosales won twice in the 200-yard medley relay, and the 100-yard breaststroke.
- Sam Henninger swept in the one and three-meter dives in the last meet against Villanova.
Scouting the Highlanders –
- The last event for NJIT was the Bucknell Invitational where the men placed fifth, two sport above La Salle.
- Keegan Wooding was a big help for NJIT in that invitational as he finished eighth in the 1650-freestyle, breaking a school record.
- Tanish Chhabra secured another record for the Highlanders in the Bucknell Invite with a 44.80 time in the 100-yard freestyle.
