After completing a yearlong gender equity review, La Salle University's Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and Recreation has developed a Gender Equity Implementation Plan. 

An external consulting firm conducted the review of La Salle's department. Beginning in the summer of 2021, the review solicited input from current and former La Salle student-athletes. The consulting firm's gender equity review additionally validated that La Salle Athletics, with regard to participation equity in 2021-22, was substantially proportionate to its undergraduate enrollment in accordance with Title IX. 

"Title IX compliance, specifically equitable access for and treatment of our student-athletes, is critically important," Vice President for Athletics and Recreation Brian Baptiste said. "The gender equity review was very informative. Our department will take the appropriate steps to ensure we are satisfying our obligations from a Title IX and student-athlete treatment standpoint and continue to prioritize enhancing the experience for all student-athletes at La Salle."
