La Salle University and the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics & Recreation celebrates the 50th Anniversary of Title IX, a monumental amendment passed on June 23,1972, prohibiting sex discrimination in any education program receiving federal financial assistance.

Female students and student-athletes over the last 5 decades have been positively impacted by Title IX. University faculty, administrators, and coaches, spoke about what Title IX has meant to their lives and how it can impact future generations of women in this video.

As we look to the future opportunities for women at La Salle, the Women's Explorer Fund is designed to continue the ascent of the women's sport programs. Contributions to the fund provide opportunities for current and future Explorers to excel in their sport of competition, and allows the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics to enhance their student-athlete experience.
