PHILADELPHIA – La Salle men's soccer will take on cross-city rival, St. Joe's, on Saturday, September 24
th at 5 p.m. at Sweeney Field.
La Salle will enter the match with a 1-5-2 record, and St. Joe's comes in at 1-2-4. The match will stream on ESPN+.
Scouting the Explorers –
- La Salle is coming off a 0-2 loss on Tuesday to Monmouth where the team had consistent shots throughout the match.
- Omari Cotterell and Giammarco Rodio are the team's leading scorers with two goals on the season.
- Junior, Justin Brunow, had five total points in 2022 and has taken 12 shots this season.
- Freshman, Filip Sabatti, started in net against Monmouth and had five total saves.
Scouting the Hawks –
- St. Joe's is coming off a close 2-1 win over UMBC last Tuesday.
- Graduate Student, Garrett Lyons, leads SJU with four points on the year and is tied for the lead in goals for the team with one.
- Omry Perel and Chris Hunt lead the Hawks with 13 shots taken in 2022.
- Luis Ludosan has started six games in net for St. Joe's and has a 0.786 save percentage.
