PHILADELPHIA, P.a. – The 2-5-2 La Salle men's soccer team is set to take on the 3-5-1 St. Bonaventure Bonnies in an Atlantic 10 Conference match.
The game will kick off at 7 p.m. from McCarthy Stadium and will be streamed on ESPN+.
Scouting the Explorers –
- La Salle is coming off a comeback win over conference rival St. Joseph's, with Nigel Buckley scoring his second goal on the season.
- Sophomore defender, Andres Rodriguez, notched his first goal of the season to spark the Explorer's comeback against St. Joe's.
- Buckley, Giammarco Rodio, and Omari Cotterell lead the team with two goals each.
- Freshman goalkeeper, Filip Sabatti, had two saves in his last start against St. Joe's and a season save percentage of 0.600.
Scouting the Bonnies –
- St. Bonaventure is coming off a 0-3 loss in a conference matchup against Fordham.
- The Bonnies are 0-2-0 in conference play this season.
- Sophomore forward, Matthew Wrobel, leads the Bonnies with five goals in 2022.
- Goalkeeper, Nicolas Pucci, has served most of the time in net for St. Bonaventure this season and has a 0.667 save percentage.
