Bethlehem, P.a. – La Salle (1-1-1) will travel to Lehigh on Tuesday, September 6
th for a 6 p.m. matchup against the Mountain Hawks (0-3).
Scouting the Explorers –
- La Salle is coming off a 1-1 tie against Manhattan College last Friday, where Giammarco Rodio was the lone scorer for the Explorers.
- La Salle finished the game Friday with 10 total shots taken and four shots on goal.
- The scoring opportunities were few, but Omari Cotterell led the team with five shots.
- Freshman goalkeeper, Valentin Kneis, had two saves in his La Salle debut.
Scouting the Mountain Hawks –
- Lehigh enters the contest at 0-3, and they are coming off a 0-5 loss to St. John's last Friday.
- The Mountain Hawks have yet to score on the season, but senior, Jack Sarkos, leads the team with six shots throughout their three games.
- Freshman goalkeeper, Tommy Chyzowych, has played in two games thus far and has 10 saves.
