PHILADELPHIA - The La Salle men's soccer team hosts Monmouth in its final non-conference match of the season on Tuesday evening at McCarthy Stadium. The contest, which is set to kickoff at 7:00 p.m., also marks the final home game of the year for the Explorers.
SCOUTING THE EXPLORERS
- La Salle dominated for much of the contest against George Washington on Saturday, but couldn't find the scoring touch in a 1-0 loss.
- The Explorers outshot the Revolutionaries, 19-6, and had an 11-1 advantage in corner kicks but failed to convert on a number of chances.
- A trio of players are tied for the team lead in scoring at three goals (Sean Yurgel, Americo Pereira, and Yuval Nimrodi).
- Filip Sabatti has started 14 matches in goal this season and has recorded a 1.29 goals against average.
- La Salle has dropped the last two matches against the Hawks, including a 2-0 loss during the 2022 season.
SCOUTING THE HAWKS
- Monmouth stands at 7-3-4 on the season and has a 4-1-2 mark in Colonial Athletic Association play.
- In their last match on Saturday, the Hawks came away with a 2-0 victory at Stony Brook.
- Ben Zakowski has a team-high 10 goals on the year and has a team-high 55 shots on the year (2nd place is 18).
