<strong>FAIRFAX, Va.</strong> – The La Salle men's and women's swimming and diving teams will compete against George Mason and Duquesne in the Atlantic 10 Classic on Friday and Saturday at the Aquatic and Fitness Center.<br />
<br />
The meet is scheduled to stream on ESPN+ starting at 10 a.m. on Friday and 5 p.m. on Saturday.<br />
<br />
The women are coming off their second win of the season against Drexel (159-137), whereas the men fell to the Dragons.<br />

<strong>SCOUTING THE EXPLORERS:</strong>

<li>Ungo secured a first-place victory in women's 100-yard breaststroke and in the women's 200 breaststroke.</li>
<li>Rafferty finished first in the women's 50-yard free for the second meet in a row. She also took the gold spot in the 100-yard free.</li>

Felicia Rogell</a> took gold in the women's 200-yard IM, proving to be a huge difference in the end results.</li>

Lauren Fenn</a>, and Herbreder took the top spot in the 200-yard freestyle relay in a pivotal spot in the meet.</li>

Zack Miller finished first place in the men's 100-yard free with a time of 46.68.</li>

Andrea Savoca</em></a> secured three individual wins in the men's 200 breaststroke, the men's 100 yard, and the men's 200 yard IM.</li>

Lucas Dekaney</a> remained undefeated on the season with another top finish in the three-meter, and was able to win the men's one meter, followed by <a href="https://goexplorers.com/sports/mens-swimming-and-diving/roster/sam-henninger/12112">
Sam Henninger</a> in second.</li>

Payton DeCook</a> took first and second respectively in the women's one-meter dive and in the three-meter dive.</li>

<strong>SCOUTING THE PATRIOTS:</strong>
<ul>
<li>The Patriots' men's team won its two-day dual against Davidson, 214-190, at the Richmond Duals held at the Hampton Aquaplex in Hampton, Va.</li>
<li>The women's team defeated Duquesne on day one, 152-147, and fell to Richmond on day two, 177-122.</li>
<li>Junior Zane Roberts was selected as the Atlantic 10 Men's Swimming and Diving Performer of the week, and Freshman Ian Rodgers was named A-10 Men's Rookie of the Week.</li>
<li>Roberts won the 50-yard freestyle and 100-yard freestyle on day one and claimed the 100-yard breaststroke on the second day of competition. He also finished second in the 400-yard freestyle and was a part of the 400-yard medley relay team that took first place.</li>
<li>Rodgers won four individual events including the 200-yard butterfly, the 200-yard backstroke, the 50 yard butterfly, and the 50-yard backstroke. He was a part of the 400-yard medley relay team as well.</li>
<li>At the 2022 A-10 Classic, the men's team placed second and the women's team placed third.</li>

<strong>SCOUTING THE DUKES:</strong>
<ul>
<li>The Dukes opened up their season competing against George Mason and the Davidson in the Richmond Duals. They fell to the Patriots 152-147, and lost to the wildcats 196-101.</li>
<li>Freshman Lexi Sundgren earned top three finishes in the competition. She won the 200-yard freestyle Friday against George Mason and won again against the Wildcats. Sundgren also earned bronze in the 50-yard freestyle as well as silver in the 100-yard freestyle.</li>
<li>Junior Haley Scholer earned a pair of first-place finishes against Davidson, winning both the 100-yard and 200-yard backstroke. She also finished second in the 400-yard IM.</li>
<li>Sophomore Ashley Felitsky registered a score of 230.20 in the one-meter dive, and finished at 237.05 in the three-meter dive.</li>
<li>Junior Orla Egan finished second in both the 500-yard and 1,650.</li>
<li>Freshman Julia Sobun earned a bronze in the 100-yard butterfly whereas sophomore Claudia Rzeznik placed fourth in the 200-yard butterfly.</li>
<li>Sophomore Sydney Severini placed second in the 200-yard breaststroke. She also finished second in the 100-yard breaststroke.</li>
