MORGANTOWN, W. Va. – La Salle University diving is set to compete in the WVU Invitational over the course of the next three days from Nov. 16-18.
The teams competing in the event will feature West Virginia, Delaware, Drexel, East Carolina, Navy, Northern Iowa, Old Dominion, Seton Hall, Villanova, and William & Mary.
SCOUTING THE EXPLORERS:
- The divers are most recently coming off a meet against the Villanova Wildcats.
- On the women's side, Payton DeCook, Tiffany Brawn and Kelsie Waddington are the names to keep an eye on during this week's events. Those three have been able to secure top spots in many of the meets competed in this season.
- For the men, Lucas Dekaney, Bryce Peterson, Sam Henninger, Carter Randall, and Liam Cahill are all suitable named to watch for a top finish this week.
- Dekaney is a senior transfer from St. Bonaventure and has been able to continue the success he had in his career with the Bonnies, at La Salle.
Each round of competition will begin with the preliminary rounds at 10:00 a.m. The finals will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, while on Saturday they will start at 5:00 p.m.
