PHILADELPHIA – La Salle women's swim and dive team will play host in a dual meet with the Rhode Island Rams tomorrow starting at 10 a.m.

SCOUTING THE EXPLORERS:
- The last time out for the women was at the 2023 Fall Frenzy hosted by Queens University of Charlotte. The Explorers had some strong individual performances throughout the competitions.
- Toni Rafferty has been a consistent force in the sprint events this season for La Salle. At the Fall Frenzy the senior took fourth place in the 50-yard free in a time of 23.46 seconds.
- The women's team all season has had big performances in relay events, as well. At the Fall Frenzy two teams took top-10 finishes home with them. Rafferty, Tori Fenn, Carlota Ungo, and Rosalia Marin Martinez swam to a sixth-place finish in the 400-medley relay in 3:46.57.
- In the 200-medley relay Rafferty, Ungo, Tori and Lauren Fenn swam to a fourth-place finish. They swam at a pace of 1:43.57.
- Tori Fenn also had a strong individual performance in the women's 100-yard butterfly. The sophomore swam to a ninth-place finish in 56.53 seconds.
- Yet another top-10 finish on the women's side came from Gabby Herbreder. She swam the 400-yard IM in 4:24.63, good enough for sixth-place.
SCOUTING THE RAMS:
- The last time out for the Rams was at the Harold Anderson Invitational, hosted at URI. The women finished in second place in this meet.
- Standout freshman Julianna Tyler had a strong performance her last time out. She set a meet record in the 200-yard butterfly. She also won the 400-medley in the final day of the meet.
- Addi Wood, another freshman for Rhode Island, led the Rams in the 1650-freestyle finishing in second place with a time 17:27.01.
- The Rams are led by head coach Lilli Falconer Deering, and she is assisted by Logan Hellwig and Christo Law.
