CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The La Salle men's and women's track team will split up with half the squad heading south for the Virginia Challenge while the other half goes north to the Rutgers Relays.
The Virginia Challenge is set to take place on Friday, Apr. 21 through Saturday, Apr. 22 with start times of 3:50 p.m. and 12 p.m., respectively. Live results are available

The Mancini sisters were the shining stars last time out for the Explorers at the Larry Ellis Invite.
Liz Mancini and
El Mancini saw a 1-2 finish in the women's 5K. El clocked in nearly four seconds ahead of her sister with a time of 16:06.95 for the gold.
Christine Mancini clipped the finish line in 2:05.31 in the women's 800-meter one to secure the bronze medal in the race.
On the field,
Olabisi Adams led the women's side with a fifth-place finish in the long jump with a best leap of 5.80m.
David Butts led the efforts for the men with a third-place finish in the 3K steeplechase. He landed at first on the Atlantic 10 leaderboards and second in La Salle program history with his final time of 8:54.19.
In other action,
Liam Rivard closed in fifth in the men's 800m run with a time of 1:48.68.
