VILLANOVA, Pa. – The La Salle women's water polo team ended their weekend of competition on a high note with a huge victory over St. Francis Brooklyn on Saturday.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED:

• The Explorers started strong offensively shutting out the Terriers taking a 5-0 lead into the second period.
• The scoring slowed in the second frame with La Salle converting three goals while giving up one to put St. Francis Brooklyn on the board taking an 8-1 lead into the second half.
• The Terriers found their momentum in the third frame holding the 2-1 edge over the Explorers still trailing 9-3 heading into the final eight minutes of play.
• La Salle got the final say with a 4-1 edge over the Terriers in the fourth period for the 13-4 victory.

• The Explorers return to action next weekend for its final three games of the regular season against LIU, Villanova and VMI.
