PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - The La Salle men's soccer team has unveiled its schedule for the upcoming 2023 season. The 17-game schedule is set to start on Aug. 24 and features eight home matches at McCarthy Stadium.  

The Explorers open the year on Thursday, Aug. 24 on the road visiting Stonehill for a 4 p.m. kickoff. The Explorers will then return to 20th & Olney for their home opener in McCarthy Stadium set for Monday, Aug. 28 against West Point. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m.  

La Salle will hit the road to begin September visiting Manhattan on Friday, Sep. 1 for a 6 p.m. kickoff. Following the road match, the squad will return home for a two-game home slate beginning with Lehigh at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Sep. 5 followed by Quinnipiac at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sep. 9.  

The Explorers will then travel across the river to face NJIT on Tuesday, Sep. 12 in a 7 p.m. kickoff before returning back to McCarthy Stadium for their Atlantic 10 opener against cross-town rival Saint Joseph's on Saturday, Sep. 16 at 7 p.m.  

The Explorers then head on a two-game road trip starting with a non-conference matchup against Rider on Tuesday, Sep. 19 followed by an A-10 showdown with Rhode Island on Saturday, Sep. 23. The games are set for 5 p.m. and 7:05 p.m., respectively. 

La Salle will finish out the month of September and kick off the month of October with back-to-back conference home contests. The Explorers will host George Mason in a 7 p.m. kickoff on Saturday, Sep. 30 followed by a matinee matchup with Loyola Chicago on Wednesday, Oct. 4 at 1 p.m.  

The Explorers continue on to a three-game road stretch starting out in the midwest against Saint Louis on Saturday, Oct. 7 at 8 p.m. La Salle returns to Pennsylvania for a non-conference contest against Lafayette at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 10 before heading north to face A-10 foe St. Bonaventure four days later, Saturday, Oct. 14, in a 7 p.m. kickoff.  

Fans will have their last two chances to see the Explorers in action at home on Saturday, Oct. 21 and Tuesday, Oct. 24 when La Salle hosts A-10 competitor George Washington and non-conference competitor Monmouth, respectively. Both games are set for 7 p.m. kickoffs.  

La Salle will travel cross-state to Duquesne for the final game of the regular season. The Explorers will take on the Dukes on Saturday, Oct. 28 at 5 p.m.  

Following the regular season, the A-10 quarterfinals are set for Nov. 4-5 followed by the semifinals on Nov. 8 and the championship game on Nov. 12.
