PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The 0-0-1 La Salle Explorers are set to take on the Black Knights of Army tomorrow night at 6:00 p.m. for the 2023 home-opener at McCarthy Stadium.

SCOUTING THE EXPLORERS:

• La Salle comes into tomorrow after a 3-3 tie to Stonehill in their first game of the season last Thursday.
• Sophomore defender Americo Pereira tallied his first and second goals of his collegiate career last Thursday, helping the Explorers come back against Stonehill.
• Giammarco Rodio was successful on a penalty kick attempt to get him on the board early in the season.
• Drew Blackwell, Evan Watt, and Lucas Lainez each earned assists against the Skyhawks.
• Sophomore transfer Randy Burkhardt made his first start in goal for La Salle and face a total of six shots, four of which on goal.
• As a team La Salle fired off 17 shots in their first game of the season. Rodio and Justin Brunow led the way with three shots each.

 
SCOUTING THE BLACK KNIGHTS:

• West Point enters tomorrow with a 1-0 record after topping Air Force in their season opener 3-2.
• Junior forward Brandon Bryant took three shots in their previous game, leading the team.
• Three different Black Knights found the back of the net against Air Force to help give them the edge in the game.
• Sophomore goalkeeper Harrison Faulkner faced six shots and made one save in the 90 minutes he played.
